    Perfect, thanks for the quick respone. Sorry for the questions I did read the 100 plus pages in this thread in preparation, lots of good stuff, but hard to relocate specific info. I'm thinking ill trim 2" off fenders and flairs. I know some have gone more and some less. Hoping that will be sufficient. I guess I'll find out when the tires get mounted.:notsure:

    Lifted, Locked, Armored. Ready To Wheel.
    It's not a locker. You just apply the e brake a little to make your tires move slower so you can't spin tires and lose traction. Same thing as rock crawling in low gear with brake and gas to keep you moving real slow.

    If one of your tires is spinning away you can apply some e brake to transfer some of the torque from the slipping tire to the other. Sometimes its enough of a bump to get you out.

    The way an open diff works is to transfer power to least resistance. So through the ebrake he hopes to put enough drag on one side to transfer to the other. Its basically what auto lsd shit does.

    :thumbsup: Just what it sounded like was trying to be accomplished here. Just with the parking brake on it only affects the rear tires where using the brake pedal applies brakes front and rear

    Park brake shoes put a bit of drag on both wheels so the power is transferred to both wheels instead of just the wheel with no traction.

    No shit. I used a thin blade chisel in between the liner and the sheet metal just hammered the heads off of the ones I need to free up.

    Another question. I'm smack dab in the middle and staring at the pinch weld. I know some of you put in relief cuts and hammered both ways. If not do you hammer toward the engine or toward the fender? Sorry I would search but I'm running out of daylight. Thanks to any input.
