3.5" requires some different clearancing than 4-4.5" BS...mainly where you need to beat more on the firewall

i don't rub the frame at all, but i had to work the firewall a bit more...i love the stance

if you want full clearancing (lock to lock while stuffed), you'll need to convince the firewall one way or another

i rub a bit now on the top of my wheel wheel on the plastic and slightly on full stuff and full lock...but got it basically all cleared out

THESE are the tires I like as well. I would need to see them in person or at least the same SSR in a similar size in person to see how aggresive the look to me. I run 255/85 R16 Cooper ST and this is the logical step to 35's on a Tacoma (in my narrow opinion). I know many of you like the 315/75 wide tires, but 10.5" would do me just fine. Going to have to wander down to 4 Wheel Parts and see if they have any Interco SSR's on the rack for me to eyeball... You guys are going to make me broke!

Ok, if the pictures show up, in the first pic mine is the little Spruce Mica between the two blue FJ's, rollin on 35" MTRs, does that mean I join the 35" club as per OP...? No body lift, I am prob only 1-2" of lift though, as you can see by the other trucks in the photo...

As for the second photo... Anyone care to guess as to why one has to and I'll quote "Beat the firewall like it raped my daughter."...? Well if you take a look at all that bracing in there and the fact that every 90 degree bend in a piece of sheet metal will increase the rigidity by 400%, well you start to get the idea, the firewall REALLY doesn't wanna go anywhere... ;-) Third photo is after cutting out what Toyota should have left out from the factory and welding it all back up, seam sealer and undercoated... I don't wanna hijack this thread so I'll try and put together a build thread for the curious...
