5 or 6 years ago when I got my 05 and wasn't really driving my 02(since it seemed like every time I drove it, it broke). I was running 285/70r17 for daily and 33x12.5r15 m/t for fun. mean while, my f350 in background always had the 38x15.5r18s on it, so after a few tickets I made my own mud flaps. I did plan on keeping my 05 fairly stock, yeah right.

and thread related pic, cause one day I'm stuffing these 35s back on here with 3-5"s.

Had a sidewall tear open on the old tires so I'm now in the 35's club! :D
I'll get some pics up soon as it does look badass.

Have any of you had to reattach the clip mounts? Mine are busted and/or half hanging on. If so what's the best product to use? I've got a ton of gorilla glue sitting around.

Well its a land Cruiser with a diesel so I've got that going for me.
If you are talking clips than just replace them. I had a bunch of the little plastic bridges that hold the clips bust...I used JB Plastic Weld Epoxy. Worked great and I never break them after I did that...I always break new ones and need to plastic weld them, soon they will all be that way ;)

Cool, wasn't sure what would hold those on the best. Funny thing is all my clips were replaced when I got 33's and they've held up fine it's the bridges that are all hanging off.

Also, who's got pics of how the wheel liners mount back up? I looked throught this thread x1,000 and didn't see. I assume I'd want to fold the tabs over and then secure the wheel liners to them somehow? Just want to get my ducks in a row on this project.

Go buy some abs sheets, heat em up with a heat gun and form yourself some new ones.

Yeah I can confirm that the open intake doesn't matter. Been running mine through heavy rain and large puddles with no problems.
