Do you still have your sway bar on? I stuffed my fronts this past weekend. BFH is going to have to come out again!

i cut the tab for the bolt off, since i cut that entire part of the fender off, and then just drilled a new hole in what is left of the fender, and bent the bracket back an inch or so to fit the new hole. same solid support, no rubbing.

For those that cut their fenders. How much is everyone taking off? I am going to go through as many builds as possible to try and get a good feeling. I am stopping by a friends body shop to give him a game plan on what I want. I am thinking 2.5" front and rear.

2"-3" seems to be the general consensus.

After all the reading, I was going to go with 3" in the front, start with 2" in the back and check for rubbing, if the rear still rubs I would take off it 1/2" increments.

i took off an even 2'' front and rear.

additionally, i only have 5 leafs/pack, and rear bump stops so small, that i might as well not have any. the combination of the two means that my tire will sit much further up into the wheel well than someone with an 8 leaf pack and/or someone with a standard length bump, menaing they need to remove less. however if you have really wide wheels, or ones with less backspacing, you may need a little extra.

here's what 2'' looks like. i have zero fender/bedside rub.
i did slightly vary from the 2'' at the ends of the cut in order to blend the lines a little better.

so what size of rims and back space is everyone running with these 35" tires? ill be joining the 35" family next spring but the wheels to go with the idea are massive 17X10 with a 3.5 bs... thoughts?

4" front and rear. I have 1.5" spacers on the rear to almost match the track width of the front. In this picture you can see that if I had only 2" cut off I might have been rubbing the flares.

And in this picture is when I cut off 3" and I rubbed the flares then.

that's a wide wheel, but with 3.5 bs, you should be ok. i'm on stock sport wheels with 1.25'' wheel spacers, which is about the least you can space out and still clear all of your suspension components

The rims I just bought are 17x9 with 0 offset = 5" Backspacing.

This is one of the most useful threads I have used on this forum. Considering how difficult it could potentially be to fit 35's this thread is 90% of the reason it is happening sooner than later....and got a deal on the rims/tires.

Even easier since raptor 315s are all over CL, I am going to snatch up a set to use for a mock up, and swap to KM2s or MTRs.
