    I was doing that with a 2005 Jeep TJ and ended up selling it after going 80 miles roundtrip daily. It just started to be too expensive with the cost of gas when you only get 10 - 12 mpg. That was with the stock 4L and 4.10 gears.

    I'm very hesitant to make modifications to the truck for that reason. I don't want to be back in that scenario where I have an awesome rig that I can't drive.

    I've been daily driving my truck on the 35's for a little over a month now. I've been tracking my mileage since then and I seem to get right around 15 mpg mixed driving. That's with a 4.0l motor with 162,xxx miles on it. It's automatic with stock gears and I have a TRD cai. My exhaust also has a decent leak so I'm losing some back pressure as well. But honestly I don't plan to DD it for the long haul. It's convenient right now bc my commute for the next 6 months will be 18 miles round trip. Once it goes up I'll be buying a beater

    I DD mine on 35s. 15k a year... 15 MPG.... same as my old Tundra when stock.

    I have 3" lift and am waiting on my wheels & tires to arrive. I went 295 55 20's with 4.5" backspace, bro truck I already know. The tires are basically 33 12.50. I know I will need to trim a bit to fit but you guys have given me hope. Any insight to what I have to look forward too as far as trimming?
