How is the body mount bushing attached to the cab mount ? It looks like the entire front half of the body mount bushing plate has been cut off ? Won't that allow the bushing to move if it only has one bolt in it ? Even the after market Energy urethane body mount bushings still have the same OE shaped mounting plate.

Hey Matt, I know you have the same CMC can you take a couple of close ups that show how the bag mount bushing plate is attached to the cab mount ? This is what the plates look like OE and aftermarket to hit the two OE bolt holes. Did they tac weld it in place since the front bolt hole was cut off maybe ?

I was just thinking about this while reading through this thread, without a regear would a automatic handle 35's better than a 6 speed?

No just the opposite. The manuals have a lower top gear than the autos. Most people only go 4.56s on manuals for 35s whereas automatics can run 4.88s with a little better freeway manners.

What's the best backspacing to use? Or do people prefer spacers?

With my setup 4" would be ideal. I have 4.5 and rub my UCA a little bit at lock.

    Check out the build
4.56 and auto. It feels like stock with a bit more torque. The revs are great at 70 on the freeway.

Too bad there isn't a 1/2" spacer. I ordered 3/4" spacers for my wheels just incase I need them. I was also thinking of trying some 1/4" spacers with ET lugs.

My 4.56 3rd and clamshell is being delivered today. I'll be overgeared on 285's until I get my 315's.

I've considered 35's forever but recently noticed at full lock with the suspension compressed I rub my reservoirs ever so slightly. Is this a big problem for guys with 35's and remote resi's? Also is regearing a must with 35's and a six speed?
