No idea, looking at it I realized I cut then sanded so that makes up for the half inch so I'm at 2" off on the flares

You need to configure your tool so that your cut pieces coming off are 2". If that red thing on your tool is what is sliding on the edge of your fender, measure 2" from the edge of the red wheel to the center of your pen.

Did you tape them up good? That will also help some when cutting

Didn't see that til after, all are complete now and smooth. Tomorrow I'm doing the fenders. So general consensus for the fenders is 2" as well?

Good idea, did you have pics of how to mount the flare after the fender is cut?

Are you planning to cut flares off the top? I don't see how they would in mine since the clips are gone now :/

I'm confused lol I don't see how the stock clips will work since when you cut the flares, the places where the clips were get cut off

They are goign to be hanging on by the top clips that are left.

That's another reason why it's good to cut at least 2" off. So you don't have a heavy flare hanging on by only the top clips.

Exactly why I keep telling everyone a slow speed jig saw is the best tool to use. A slow speed jigsaw will not heat up the blade and melt the plastic and leave a really clean cut.
