    Noise maker? I drove mine in 5 states today for work ! That's gottah makes noise at 65-70?

    I've rode in 3 tacomas with snorkels and haven't heard noise from any of them...

    1800 miles last week I would herd something! Ha
    One of my Buddies who owned an FJ would bitch about noise that's why I asked! Also , if your not driving in water higher than the intake daily, weekly why bother!!

    Because it only takes one time to hydro lock your engine. Happened to my buddy when we went wheeling, $750 tow home and roughly 3500 later he was back on the road. Ill stick with the $500 snorkel insurance

    Also it doesn't make noise and I drive 40-60k miles a yr

    $500 rather than $3,500 absolutely is a better option. Especially if the $3,500 isn't for the rehearing I need or for some else you'd rather do with it! Got about 2.3-2.5 million miles behind the wheel . Wheeled in 8 states no snorkel no water in any of my motors !

    Because a snorkel's primary function isn't to keep water out. As I always say, keeping water out is an ancillary benefit.
