Its a good time when we wheel lol. Honestly surprised I haven't broke anything yet!uploadfromtaptalk1456711150203.jpg
Thankfully a different company got the bid on that job so I never had to head up there actually lol! But I'm down to wheel wherever if I ever make it that way.

How'd those fenders fit up against the CBI bumper? Any rubbing with body roll etc? Just curious because my Allpro bumper definitely rubs up the stock fender flares pretty sure at some point will just beak the rivet in front and they'll be flapping but long story long very interested in the McNeil fenders...

Lower your bumper, should be at a minimum 3/8" clearance between your flare and bumper.

Pretty shitty honestly. I couldn't lower the bumper enough to have any space between the fender and bumper so I literally cut out 3/4" from the fenders and re-glassed em. Now I have about a 1/4" gap. I know its not the ideal 1/2" gap but if they make contact and crack then I'll just refiberglass them again. uploadfromtaptalk1456713416807.jpguploadfromtaptalk1456713425725.jpguploadfromtaptalk1456713481728.jpg

I haven't taken an after pic yet so this is just the before picture (with no gap) and the modifications made.

I couldn't move the fenders up enough or the bumper down soooo this was my only option really.

Maybe they'll clear better on a different truck. My frame horns have been through hell and back so maybe they're tweaked a little. Idk.

Same situation with my bumper. Not owning a torch to cut the pre fab holes I couldn't lower it as much as I'd like in the one side so I actually shimmed the frame to hold it off and I have about 3/8... I've worked with fiber glass a lot in the past but never cut into new fenders and had to reglass it. Did you cover the bottom end after you cut it? I guess you'd want to so nothing got caught up in there.

I have a torch but didn't wanna mess with the mounts because then the side support mounts wouldn't line up too. It'd all be out of whack. And Yea I recovered the whole area I cut out. Working with fiberglass is pretty simple so it wasn't a hard process. Took a day pretty much.

Besides that , I love the fenders. They came right on time , no damage from shipping and didn't have to sand anything to fit. Bolted right on no problem.

I was hoping that they didn't have as much depth as your picture showed and you'd be able to sand them so they just would tuck in behind the fender same way the front end has that 1/2inch cut away. Obviously they are fab'd that way meaning the cut away from the front end but... My brain was just hatching plans on how to go about it.

Here's a pic from the night I got em mounted without any cutting. You can see they're wider than the bumper and how the gap is uploadfromtaptalk1456715547033.jpg

Correct. 2" flare 1" rise. No sir I didn't want to go 3" because I enjoy the lower(as less wheel gap as possible) look with plenty of down travel.
I have solid axle plans and they include bumpstops before hitting the fender so didn't need 3".

Hopefully I explained that right :anonymous:

Pretty much: I want gobs of down travel with a hint of up travel so I shouldn't need 3" fenders.
