i was getting better gas mileage with my 34s over my 33s... at 15-17 normally on my 285s and i was 16-18 with my 305s

i'm expecting 16-18 with the 315s as well..

    305/70/17 MTR 34.1x12.2 on 9" rim

    315/75/16 STT 34.47x11.92 on 8.5" rim

so the width really won't go up, will probably gain a bit on weight tho. but the higher speeds should be slightly lower RPMs.

Hypothetical only: So if I am getting 12 MPG with tires that are 11% off would the following be correct?

If my stock Odometer is pushing out the following numbers:
    120 miles on 10 gallons = 12 MPG

    To calculate actual MPG:

Miles traveled * (total miles traveled * (1+ % off)) = Actual milage traveled

    120 * 1.11 = 133.20 Miles actually traveled

133.20 miles on 10 gallons of gas = 13.32 MPG

    yes

versus with my manual, larger tires and 4.56 gears, i'm at around 90% of factory with 285s and 94% with 305s..

so when my odo reads 100 miles i actually only went 90 or 94 depending on tires..

yes the flare... good idea on foam, what if you someday decide to change up to bushwaker or something then how you get that crap off? lol it stick to everything
I would leave mine off but around here the clips rub through the paint and rubbing and with the amount o salt the city tosses everywhere i imagine i wouldnt have eny fenders after a few years lol
Also with the cops around here i need flares especially with 315's

I left mine open. Was going to close them up some how but I find it's easy to hit the car wash and use pressure washer to clean between the flares and fenders

put down some vinyl or tape or somethiing like that then spray the foam. that way it doesnt stick to the paint and should be able to be removed from the truck if need be

Well its a land Cruiser with a diesel so I've got that going for me.
My '13 already has a high clearance rear bumper and a 4 in hole for the snorkel. Figured it was just 1 perfect body panel I needed to finally chop and the rest just got more chopped.

My dealer hates me...I make them fix 100% of the issues...as long as they cover the engine/trans I could give a fuck less what they say. Not.like it's a lease right?
