Pulling the trigger this weekend, cmc and 2in fender chop any advice!? I read this entire thread. Over and over. Going 315/70/17. And my wheels are 4.5 backspace I'm not going to put on a spacer hopefully it clears the uca, I originally put 285/70/17 and got lucky with no rubbing until 6 months then it rubbed in full lock reverse only. I'll post pics after the weekend

So don't waste my time without the spacers? And will it rub all the time while I'm driving or only lock?

I have a genuine hi-lift that is also bent, not as bad as that, but bent. Physics still apply to dimensional steel no matter the brand.

I have light racing UCA with 4.25 bs wheels and I never rub UCA. Only frame slightly at full lock.

Hey what rims do you have?
    How wide are they?

You really should avoid wheel spacers unless you need them. The further out you go, the more you will have to clear your firewall. With you TC UCA and 4.5" back spacing you might be alright.

I was barely rubbing at full lock on my frame and had slight contact on my UCA's (stock). It bothered me so I put 1.25" spydertrax spacer on. It go me off both the frame and UCA's. My wheels have a 4.5" BS so with the 1.25" it brings it to 3.25" I feel 3.5-3.75" is the ideal backspace. It did bring me closer to my firewall though. No contact. The stance looks great. 31570R17

Hey guys what's a wheel with 3.75 bs and a -30 mm offset looking like as far as rubbing the frame and UCA? I'm not too good with this stuff. I'm figuring that the 3.75 with the -30 will put me around a 4 bs (sorta). Is that somewhat right?

The XD addicts, 4.5 backspace, I'm going to put them on my wheels today just to test fit and mark everything, this way if I need the spacers i can get them by this weekend.

I have TC UCAs and 4.5" BS rims and rub on my UCA a little bit in reverse locked. I'm going with 4" bs rims in the near future to help alleviate it. I'm not a fan of spacers to fix rub situations.

Heres a good question what do, the guys that have trimmed fenders, used to get that line so smooth and even along the whole edge of the fender?

Are you asking about the door edge trim that some use to finish it off or the tool we used to cut the fenders?
