Def not a fan of their new bumper. The lower part just doesn't look right.

I think I would've thought about getting one of their APEX bumpers if it wasn't for that. It kind of defeats the purpose of the HC bumper if it creates a hang up point like that IMO.

It looks like they barely did any trimming in the rear. How does that thing not rub?

I'd like to know more about the cutting/welding to make 34" tires fit. I've seen some threads, but see different levels of effort.

Do you have someone cut the fender 1-2 inches and buy some sort of cover to hide the bare edge?

On the inside, do you chop anything that touches or could touch, then re-weld flush?

Would changing my plans on 285-75 to 315-75 tires be more travel than its worth, considering the effort of fitting and less power without higher gears?

You have to want it. There is work and money involved in 315-35" fitment. Regearing is pretty important too. Your tranny will strain without doing so over time especially if you are towing at all.

There's 82 info packed pages in this thread, start reading.

    Short answers to your questions:
    Yes you cut the fenders.
Sure, some people use door edge trim to finish it off. Others redo the fender liners. Some do others things.
Yes. CMC and reweld. Bang on some shit with a sledgehammer.
Depends on what you consider more travel (trouble).

Total Chaos UCA are ordered! :woot:

Should be interesting how much more I will have to bang on my firewall with those. I will also be bumping up my lift 1 more inch so that should help.

That stupid lower radiator/frame support totally ruins most high clearance front bumpers on the 2nd gens. I cant wait to cut mine out this spring!
