What do I need to delete the 4wd ecu in my 07 Tacoma Trd off road?? I am going to be transferring my electric transfer case to an manual Fj transfer case. Can I lock the front diff and get rid of the ecu all together and unplug lights on dash Or do I need to put an ADD switch on it?? Curious to what I’m getting into as my best option for truck already have transfer case just looking for a little guidance for best options

there is a tutorial on how to convert the front ADD diff to a non ADD diff out of an AWD FJ/4runner. and then at that point if you wanted you could get manual front hubs (i believe someone makes them) and then it would be all manual.

Here's the diagram for the switch. Whether you make one or not depends on how you want the truck to operate and how you use it. For me, I ran the ADD switch for a while but eventually I broke the front differential and used that as an opportunity to go full manual. Personally, if your front actuator is working, I'd wire it up. You can always leave it permanently engaged if you want.

You're looking at the F12 and F13 connectors right there in your picture. You'll want to use the F13 connector., the left one in your picture. The pin numbers of the F13(B) connector are referenced on my schematic I posted earlier. The purple wire is the +12V supply and comes from the F12 connector pin 5.
