I just purchased upper control arms and paid to have them installed and alignment done...

My front end needs to come up about and inch to be level (I was 1 notch up before).

My question is, how many hrs (or how much $ should I pay) to pull the coil overs, compress, move up a notch and realign?

Grrrrrr......I was going to just leave it but after spending $1k already it’s bothering me that it’s not level...

And the only reason I spent the $ in the first place is because I was 2 degrees off caster specs....

    Appreciate any info in advance....

    Oh.....I live in Southern California

A shop with a spring compressor (any auto shop really) should be able to pull them off and reinstall them at the new height in an hour/hour and a half at most. Add the cost of an alignment to that and you've got your estimate. Maybe 2 hours if they're slow but it shouldn't take more than that to do the suspension.

If you rent a spring compressor you can do it yourself and save the money

If you live near Glendale, King Wheel and Tire installed my old 5100 setup front and rear (along with AALs) and did an alignment for under $300 all in.

    Appreciate the replies...

I was really hoping there was a way to adjust them without taking out the whole coilover...

Last time I did this it was perfect at 2 setting up from the lowest until it settled.

I don’t want to have to do this 3 more times and pay for alignment....
