2nd Gen accessory question for double cab

Hey guys and gals i was wondering if anyone knows of a product to go over the back plastic part of the fold down seats in a double cab? The plastic is real slippery and the dog slides all around it. Is there any kind of product that is like a huge rubber mat to go down over it so things (my dog) doesnt slide around???

cover it up with some stair "grip tape"

 

Try throwing a blanket down. That always helps me.

 

Get some sheets of that rubber tool box drawer liner and put that down under a blanket. You can buy it in long rolls at Harbor Freight.

 

See if you can find an old bedmat, it's tough stuff but you can cut it with a utility knife to fit.

 

Somewhere on here I've seen pictures of people who have laid carpet or something over it. I believe it is in a dog thread of some kind.

 

I built this over the past 2 weekends here and there. I'm attaching a lead so the dog will have room to get around but not enough to jump out of the truck if the window is down or door open.

i had mine line-x'd. It's great now, nothing slides on it. It was cheap too, i got the valance and rear seats done for 50 bucks

 

do you have pics of the seats?

 

ok sweet deal yea i had been throwing blankets back there buy they end up sliding around too but il maybe get a bed rug and cut it up some.

I used some 15/32 plywood from Lowe's, 3 door hinges, indoor/outdoor carpet. After all was said and done I think I spent about 75-80 but there were products that were cheaper if you wanted to save a little.

I was using the T style hinges like the other thread mentioned but the thickness of the wood combined with the carpet didn't allow for it so I cut in some slots for the hinges that way it could fold flat when I wanted to get in behind the seats.

I'm going to guess it weighs about 30-35lbs it's VERY sturdy.
