Yup mine came the same way. USPS trashed the package pretty bad.

Let me know if you have issues and I'll take care of you, if you can take pics of the box + the vinyl as well as tracking # this will help me file a claim with USPS if it needs to be replaced. thanks!

I'm not sure what the heck they are doing with them. using them as wheel chocks on their mail trucks? =(

:notsure: not sure to be honest. I'm going to do the heat gun route to iron out the wrinkles in the decal. Hope that fixes it :fingerscrossed:

Absolutely nothing on @CBoy808 but mine, the white one with pics in the thread, was also damaged by the usps. That is the reason mine comes up short on the scoop and under the TRD on one side is hiding damage. (I trimmed some damage back) I know it's there and can handle being a little short, but in hindsight, I'd say collect the insurance and put a clean slate of vinyl on. That is what it is for.

As stated above..... that was NOT a vendor issue and I did contact him. I alone, chose to deal with the issue caused by a third party.

I put the decal on. It took a little finagling with the heat gun to get the front worked around. I popped out the hood insert and had to tuck a little behind it because I had it a just a whisker to far forward and didn't want to cut.

I'm waiting for mine to arrive. When installing should it be a min. temp outside or doesn't matter?

It was just above freezing in my shop last night. I warmed up my truck so the hood was warm, had the decal in the house at room temp. Mixed up a few drops of baby shampoo and warm water in a bowl, used a sponge to wet the area and went for it.

I picked mine up from the post office today. The mailing box must have been on the bottom of a postal bin, as it was pretty crushed. Even the Postmistress (Lady Postmaster ?) commented on the condition of the box.

Anyhow, there were some folds in the vinyl, but not enough to worry about. A little heat - it IS a bit cold here in MN - and it will straighten right out. Now for some warm weather for installation.

Thanks Cboy808 for the fast shipping. Product looks quality and I'm sure it will work well when I put it on the Taco."

I appreciate the offer, CBoy808. The box went to recycle so don't have it or the label. The vinyl did get a bit "squished", but not enough to worry about. Weather is heading back into the teens next week and honestly, I haven't had the time to do the installation.

A little update on my install. I broke out the heat gun one more time to smooth out some minute wrinkles. I over heated my paint on the hood scoop insert and popped some paint off.

OK, here's the decal installed on my 2015 PRO. My buddy installed it and it looks great and the nasty glare is gone! It took some work to get it on straight and there is a couple very tiny spots under the decal even though20180129_144912_resized.jpg 20180129_160129_resized.jpg I thought the scoop was perfectly clean. Oh well, not enough to fuss over. Gently using a heat gun helps.

    Thanks @CBoy808

Mine arrived yesterday! Box was pretty smacked up. A few creases in vinyl. Hopefully heat will work them out.

    Thanks!

Just finished installing mine. I think it came out pretty good for never doing something like that before. I still have black TRD decals to add, but they'll have to wait for another few days

    Thanks again @CBoy808
