Thank you. There's no way in hell an ARB for a Tacoma can weight 150+. That's maybe what one for a fullsize truck/SUV weighs. I have no idea where vendors get that "shipping weight" from. Do you really think they weigh each and every one? Doubt it. They guess it.

Not arguing your point , but consider that the RelentlessFab base steel plate bumper is 90 lbs and seems to have substantially less mass to it

^ No I know nobody is arguing with me and I'm not arguing with anyone either.

Maybe the ARB rep is off by 10-15lbs..give or take, but I doubt take.

I can tell you that I installed the bumper by myself and it wasn't too hard at all. I installed the winch about 2 months later and I didn't pull the bumper, just lifted it into place with no problems.

I just got one used (non-foglight version) and it is being blasted and powdercoated right now. I expect it back in about seven days. When it comes back I will weigh each individual piece and post exact weights. Stay tuned.

You can buy the fog light kit and install it yourself but I'd do it before powder coating. I installed it on mine; just involves some cutting and fitting. Kurt as Cruiser Outfitters sells the kit for a good price if you're interested.

Okay, got the bumper back from the powdercoating company, looks awesome. ARB sent me out new rubber "buffers" for the front, a new sticker, and a few nuts, etc. Totally worth getting a used one for even trade for my bumper cover. $250 for blast, phosphate dip, prime coat, and black powdercoat.

    As for the weights:

Bumper unit itself = 107 lbs
Bumper to chassis support bracket = 30 lbs
Two small brackets = 3.6 lbs
Assorted bolts = about 1-2 lbs ? (Didn't weigh them)

Total weight = about 140+ lbs

Used my super duper calibrated digital bathroom scale, but it actually is a fairly accurate scale.

Awesome, thanks man. That sounds about right. A lot of others seemed way too high and others too low. I really appreciate you taking your time to weigh it all up and answer the question for me and lots of others. Let's see it on the truck when you get it installed!

well how much does the stock bumper weigh with everything you take off in preparation for the ARB? subtract that from aroung 140lbs to see how much weight you are actually adding to the truck.
