I've got a rear bump stop question for you guys running the BAMF rear shock relocation kit. Jerry made it clear to me that when I install these rear brackets that I need to do it with the rear of the truck sitting on the bump stops and leave myself some room on the compression side of the shock so that the truck hits the bump stops before the shock bottoms out.

Today I had a chance to pull my rear leaf packs apart and reinstall the main bow only, along with a block I made to equal the thickness of the leafs I took out. This allowed the rear of my truck to squat down and sit on the bump stops.

My question is (finally) how much room do you guys have between the top of the tires and the fender when your squatting down on the bumps? Evenly squatting I might add, not articulated. I have 3-1/2 inches which is kind of a lot I feel. I think my aftermarket bump stops are a little to tall. I'm running 285/70-17 tires by the way.

    Thanks
