    Hey Folks,

I know there have been issues with the block heaters over the years, but I recently moved to Northern Alberta and needed one. 2 dealers said they no longer stocked them for the 2006, so I thought my only option was an oil pan heater. But 1 later called me back and said they re-searched using “2007” and they had them in stock. Thankfully they had a savvy service tech who knew he’d recently done a 2007 Tacoma block heater and that the part should be identical. Not sure why their computer system has this gap.

So if your dealer ever says they don’t make them for your truck, have them try a different year, and you might luck out like I did.
