2nd Gen Bucket to Bench Conversion?

Hey all, long time lurker first time caller. I see a lot of people with single cab tacos that convert from the factory bench seat to 'pick-n-pull' bucket seats. I am wondering if any one has done the opposite or at least thought about it long enough to do hands on research. I have a '08 Base 4wd Access Cab that I would like to pull the buckets (and associated center console) out of and swap in a bench and console out of a single cab. If anyone has done this or decided not to I'd appreciate insight. I don't use my center console nearly as much as I could use the minimal extra seating provided by the bench. TIA PFA
