I'm hoping someone can tell me if a canopy that fits a 2nd gen long box will fit a 3rd gen long box. TIA Cheers, Dave

Canopy. It's homemade and bolts into some rectangular 'nuts' that are slid into the tie down channel

Well the beds are the same length, the rails and T nuts are the same IIRC, but 'homemade' is a bit of a kicker.

Pictures with it set up? Is it local where you could try it on your truck before buying?

Small lift, slightly oversized tires, well...
The only difference between the 2nd and 3rd gen is the top of the tailgate, 2nd gen is straight across and the 3rd gen is bowed. The rear door of a 2nd gen will not work on a 3rd gen.

I am selling it and I believe the fellow is local. I'll invite him over for a fit!

Thanks for that. Might be a deal breaker. I'll let the prospective buyer know. Cheers, Dave
