Has anyone put a 2nd Gen cap on a 3rd Gen? Is there a fitment issue? I read that a 3rd Gen cap had some kind of issue going on a 2nd Gen, I think...

You'll need one where the rear window sits flush with the bottom of the shell body since it can't overlap the tailgate. It'll be a bit narrow too.

1" shorter in length, so you need to make mods to stop water from entering, looks goofy.

I'd only bother if I already had the cap and I needed it for work.
