    Hello All,
I have hollowed out my cats since they were clogged and don't want to spend money on new cats but will on a tune if there is one...
My check engine light came on because the sensor wasn't getting appropriate readings
instead of doing a janky DIY resistor mod. I am curious if anyone has found a reliable tune to trick the computer, that won't grenade my truck.

    My fingers are crossed

Un-cross your fingers and go buy some new replacement OEM cats and put them bad boys on. Maybe put on some new OEM O2 sensors while you are at it. Boom, no more CEL, no need for stupid janky mods.

Tampering with emissions systems for street use is against federal law. Asking for help to bypass laws on a public forum just because you are pinching pennies? Galaxy brain stuff...

not that I am aware of

there is replacement cats non CARB
which should be significantly cheaper should you not require CARB. All while giving you a nice shiny new exhaust that doesn’t smell like shit behind.

if I could straight pipe for free, not to mention shit noise, I probably wouldn’t for those reasons. This is not the motor or the truck.

    potentially HFC

Not going to find one most likely. No reputable tuner will write one as it puts them in direct violation of federal law. Most of them would like to keep their business from being fined.

Why not just buy some used manifolds or a y pipe?
