Wife an I grew up in Oregon. I took off right after high school for the Army. Been all over the place the last 18years. Found a gig in N. California to finish out my last two years before I chuck deuces and get my pension...then start something new.

Sorry it took so long to wrap this up, we were busy looking for a house. But we got that knocked out.
Finished the last 340 miles on Tuesday.

Here are the numbers.

Total miles (with trailer): 4,702
Total gas used: 466.5 gal
Fuel cost: $1,354.43
Average MPG: 10.4
Best tank: 12.5
Worst tank: 8.1

The Gross Combined Weight came in at 12,580 lbs. That’s with a quarter tank of gas, no passengers, and quite a bit of luggage offloaded so in reality it was rolling over 13,000 lbs.

*we did drive an additional 150 or so in-and-around miles without the trailer. Those miles do reflect on the fuel numbers.

I had to sell my ‘93 Civic prior to this move, so I picked up a 2002 Civic Sedan in Sacramento on the way through to replace it. Bought it off an old lady that owned it the last 14 years for $1,800. Interior is mint and the clear coat is still intact cause she parked under a tree. It has a couple quirks but there all easy fixes. (Rear cam seal, control arm bushings, tie-rod ends maybe, gotta get up under her to be sure)

It’s reallly refreshing to be back out west where so much of what’s on the grocery store shelf is local and they actually have toilet seat covers in public restrooms. Also, the craft beer selection...winning!

The truck was amazing. Zero issues. I ordered replacement Amsoil fluids for the engine, tranny, x-case, and 3rd. Will get it all changed out next week as well as clean the brakes and throttle body. Here’s to another 12 years of ownership

I left Rhode Island at 17 to join the Navy. Traveled the world, did 20 yrs and 21 days, and got myself another job back in '07. I'll retire from the current gig in 6 years or so and it'll be back to the East coast for me. Fishin' in Florida...
