Bought one about a month ago for 50% off. I have one in my other car and my wife loves it!

The 50% sale Console Vault arrived late yesterday, and I installed it this afternoon with lots of photos taken so I didn't lose any parts in the dark condo garage bay. Thought I'd have to peel the original felt at the bottom until the black plastic sheet came up with it. 20231001_151058[1].jpgAnd there's gray plastic at the bottom of the console! 20231001_153040[1].jpgSince I'm taking care of this SR5-DLT (Dad's Last Truck) for my kids, having heard recently about smash-and-grab thefts at fire stations, and one SIL is a paramedic, it's worth adding this accessory. (Much easier than replacing the cat-back exhaust system, the LC Engineering kit is built in multiple pieces simpler to install than the OEM one piece...)

Update: I was tired of waiting for an out-of-stock replacement lock, so ordered the barrel lock, which arrived from Console Vault on Wednesday, May 14, and installed while rain was falling outside the cab that afternoon. The next day, I noticed the spring washer laying on my seat ("Where did that come from?") so I started taking apart the new latch and yes, I did use the new spring washer. So the old one joined the reset to zero combination lock in the re-marked box as a spare.
In the event the question is asked, the original included 3-digit lock seemed a bit fiddly and the numbers a bit difficult to see this year.
