Alright guys im looking to buy a taco of my own. Unfortunately the 2nd gen section does not have a stickey (or a thread that i have found) that lists differences throughout the years of the 2nd gen tacos. specifically the 4x4's

Other than small styling changes over the years what are the major differences.

I know that the offroad came with the e locker... does the sport come with an LSD (mechanical or electronic?) what about base?

Also any out of the ordinary things i should be looking at when inspecting the 2nd gens outside of the usual fluids, frame, interior etc.

No major differences in the 2nd Gens. Stereos started changing in 2012+, seats have airbags in 2009+. Minor diferences to the looks each year.

It seems like that's out of date. It says the TRD offroad package includes "auto-dimming rearview mirror, outside temperature gauge" ... I've checked out a few 2014s around here that say they have the TRD offroad package and none of them have that in the mirror.

Is there a difference between the TRD offroad package in that brochure and "TRD offroad extra value" package?

Its only a brochure. Says at the end packages are subject to change so its not and end all be all. But the mirror thing seems to be all that has changed from brochure and what you actually get on the lot.
