Yeah.... Mine don't fit right. I'm gonna have to cut some of the bracket off I think and I had to drill out a hole already. Disappointing product. Love the shirt though!

When I installed mine..they seemed like they fit in a different spot.. holes didn't line up and I was disappointed...then I moved them around and finally the bracket lined up (different holes)..
Not that that is your issue.. just throwing that out there..

Also my holes were too tight (powdercoat) but i hand screwed the bolts in before installing and they fit much better.

If the issues are more severe.. i would call cbi directly before modifying them.

If anyone has any issues with fitment please refer to the install instructions available on our website. Or give us a call, we are more than happy to help with any install or fitment issues. Most issues are caused by the product being installed incorrectly.

Loved my CBI ditch brackets. I had a small issue with fitment but once I wiggled everything into alignment it was pretty easy to get down. Didn't have to file anything and held up pretty solid. Glad to see a push on this product again. Love my CBI tshirt and I actually wore it the other day :D

I was following your instructions, so I don't think i was doing it wrong. I didn't have time to finish installation. I'll try to get back to it today or this weekend. My holes didn't seem to be lining up right and were making it seem like the hood was going to interfere with the brackets. Like I said, I'll take a closer look hopefully today or this weekend.

They don't line up lol. Not the person or the instructions, it's the FABRICATION.

Passenger side lined up for me, but the driver side I had issues with.

Just ordered, will post some pictures when they come in, Im going with the same cheap "nilight" pods from Amazon for ~20$ that I have liked on my m/c.

I'm happy with my brackets but they definitely didn't line up, that being said I just drilled the hole bigger on the truck.

Same here, I'm very happy with mine (using them for antenna mounts) but I did have to customize them to clear my hood hinges. I didn't drill any holes out, I just used a smaller bolt in the one hole that was slightly off center.

I very rarely have ever had aftermarket parts 100% bolt-on so I expect a little modification here and there. Making holes oval, cutting, bending. That's even true on ARB stuff and they have about as high end of a process as Toyota itself, but tolerances stack up, things get tweaked, running changes in manufacturing. Shit happens.

Ya, I can understand why someone would WANT a "perfect" fit every time but I think complaining about a bolt hole that needs to be widened by the sound of it very little is a little over the top.

I can't speak for others, and I'm happy with the brackets, but the holes were more square than round, and undersized for the bolts. Not everyone has a drill press and is willing to settle for paint touch ups on powder coat. Plainly poor quality control. I'd be embarrassed to ship these out. I'd fire the idiot that sent them to powder coat in that condition.

My holes were cut well, I just had to drill out one hole on either side in the engine bay. I was worried the bracket was hitting the hood, but once I got it bolted tight it was out of the way. When I first open the hood and/or as it's closing, I can see the brackets move a little but I'm not entirely sure which part of the hood is pushing on it. Some part of the hinge must be pushing on it as it first opens. Other than that though, they fit pretty dang well and seem solid.

Thank you for the feedback everyone! This is valuable information for us. We will be doing some test fitting this week at the shop and tweaking this product some to achieve better fit and finish for everyone!

I want to do this so bad... but there are waaayyy to many reports of fitment issues. I don't have access to my buddy's shop anymore so I am S.O.L. if the drivers side doesn't add up. Guess I should look into relentless fab?? :notsure: :pout:

Yes. I'm using them with mine.

My question is, is there any reason the driver side light and bracket would be vibrating strongly when stopped while the passenger side is not? Is it just something to do with my engine shaking more to one side? Just curious. I noticed a strong vibration on my driver side light, while my passenger sits perfectly still.

Does anybody know if the fitment issues were resolved? Or was a new product rolled out?
I'd rather pay the extra $ and go with something I know will fit as opposed to taking a gamble and being disappointed like a bunch of others in this thread.

We slotted the hole on the brackets to give more room to line up with factory holes. Haven't had any complaints with fitment since the change.
