I was reading they are more prevalent in Hawaii because they have few oil collection sites, as oppose to the mainland. They encourage citizens to put oil in a plastic bag with absorbent material and throw in the trash. In the mainland it is a better practice to take used oil to an oil collection location.

That’s very interesting, makes sense. I definitely found it a hell of a lot easier to do oil changes with it.

A few years ago, I went to NAPA to look for one and they told me don’t sell them anymore since they’re encouraging people to bring used oil to proper collection places

Just google "oil absorbent" and you come up with lots of bulk materials. You could make your own with a cardboard box or garbage bag. That said, I'm a Fumoto convert. Hose on the valve and into a 1 1/2 gal gas can for transport to recycle.

Have you had any issues with that valve leaking? Is the side you connect the hose on threaded so it can be capped close?

No issues. I have the short stem. You can purchase a adapter for the hose to push on the nipple easily. It comes with a plastic safety clip for the valve to prevent opening. I'm using the F-103. I suppose you could cap the nipple with a rubber vacuum line cap but I haven't needed one.

Trying to find OEM info on the standard rear drum brake size. Rock Auto has two (apparently) sizes for drums, pads etc (241mm and 254mm). Can't seem to find any info as to which one I have... I'm rocking a 2015 4.0L 4x4 Access Cab. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Is there a thread on fixing the intake vibration or rattle? I have looked but been unable to locate one. Any help would be appreciated

Do you have more info that you can give us? I have never run across an intake vibration.

I have read where a few people have had a vibration between the firewall and air filter box not sure the exact specifics. When I stop a stoplight in drive I have vibration/rattlesometimes. I was thinking it maybe something with the torque converter at the same time it sounds like it is coming from somewhere near the right side of the fire wall

Now I know what you're talking about. It is actually weird because my 13 dclb Does the same vibration but only in the winter when I m out of stoplight with the brakes on and it is really cold outside. During the summertime it doesn't happen. It actually sounds like it is coming from behind my glove box, in some type of way. I think you're on the right track, With something possibly with the torque converter. I know it is definitely not the intake, because I have a snorkel, And mine is completely rerouted. It never really bothered me enough to have another person Look at it Under the hood while I try to Mimic it in the winter.
