A few mods here and there and counting....
Bump...anyone know of a muffler shop that is familiar with doing a re route in the East Bay? What is the average price you guys are paying? I was quoted 275-300 at a few local shops in the Pinole/Rodeo area.

Little this. Little that 4x4 Swap’d PreRunner
I used Minute muffler in Dublin on previous cars when growing up. Didn’t get a reroute but they did good work.

Over GVWR and I keep adding more metal
Got mine done in Modesto by Rick, over at Danny's Rod Shop. $166 and looks great, skids can go on now!

Anybody done the re-route in the South Bay / San Jose area?

Also, any issues with not having a heat shield above the re-route.

    Thanks.

I had El Camino Muffler in Santa Clara do mine a few years ago. No complaints, no heat shield.

I'm guessing nobody uses mandrel bends.

I did mine there. Good work, cheap, and got me in immediately.

    pinstripes. lots of pinstripes.
I've been considering picking up a few mandrel combo bends and rerouting mine. Not that it'll make a difference on a crush-bent exhaust but...gotta do it.

Is the tuck under method not usually done on 2nd gen?
