Did any 2nd gen come with rubber or heavy vinyl floor covering from Toyota? No carpet, just a somewhat 'industrial' floor covering? (although it likely would have had a fibrous backing)

I'd really like having that instead of the carpet and floor mat combo. Much easier to keep clean with wet, sand, etc.

I have a base 5 lug access cab and obviously would want the entire floor this way.

I do have the rear seating. Wondering if the ones with 'seating delete' or some version of work truck might have had this.

TIA for any good intel on this!

I checked with the parts counter once and they did show an all vinyl floor and yes it had the fibre underpad. Price was $1400 for the double cab but the parts guy said it wasn't available.

I would have selected this option from new if it was available.

    Weathertecs were a cheaper option.

Hope he quoted you wrong, all weather flooring is like $400.

    Double cab Part:
    58510-04870-B2

People reported it was $50 option if you ordered your Tacoma to come with the all weather floor.

Just a note, it's really cool and all but don't plan on submerging your vehicle any. Guys over on the FJ forum found that mold/mildew like to chill in the foam underneath and then you have to deal with the smell.

Parts counter dude emailed it to me. Mebbe it was installed? Of course $400 US is about $1400 CDN right now anyways...

If the cost really is around $400 I will do this for sure.

Installed or Canadian sounds more likely.

Hopefully that's an installed price.

Thanks guys! Good to know it really does exist!

Wondering if the setup for the AC cab changes with or w/o the back seats? Well, I guess a parts guy can look that up and tell me.

When the grandkids get too big for the back I think all that rig will be going, and the trim from the 'seat delete' option going in.

But it would be nice if this flooring was the same fitment, so I could proceed with that...........

And no worries on the 'submerging' routine. I'm just a little 5 lug. Don't run through off road standing water that I don't walk through first to both test the bottom and the depth.

Maybe someone will see this and have the hots for my flawless '13 15k miles black carpet and black Weather Tech mats. I can't do a for sale till it's out of the vehicle and available. But someone could PM me asking if I'd like to sell them. :D

Flooring is the same, only thing that changes is cab model. AC is AC, DC is DC. Back seats won't matter, they're all the same flooring.

I'd be surprised if you couldn't sell your carpet for $100-150 without much trouble.

Unless you rip off all the fibrous carpet underneath it before you install it right?

My guess is it wouldn't fit right if you did that. The thickness of the padding assists with the contours and tightness of the material.

If one is intentionally going to regularly submerge, you're much better with no floor covering, and LineX the surface. And install marine drain plugs.

Any chance you might know the Access Cab P/N? I've poked around a bit but not had any luck yet.

My local dealer will price match legit Toyota web pricing, sans shipping. I'd really like to be able to tell them exactly what I'm looking for.........

I'm going to take it that this is aftermarket?

If so I wonder if the vinyl will fit over the cab without the padding that OE uses.

I used ACC carpet floor mats in an old Acura I was dolling up a bit for my daughter a number of years ago. They fit fine, and actually didn't feel too bad in terms of weight and knap. However, they didn't wear worth a flip. They were shot in a couple of years, and she's not a slob.

I know this is a different product (vinyl) but this truck is a 20 year keeper that I'm only one year into.

I'm thinking I'd rather pay the price for Toyota product (I'll assume it's as robust as their bed mats) than take a chance on aftermarket at this point.

I would take a shot at the ACC if I was cleaning up an older truck with ratty carpet that I planned to use a year or two then ditch.

For an off roader or a beater, I'd just coat the floor in MonstaLiner.

I don't unfortunately. I'll see if I can look around and maybe find it.
