    will a 2nd gen FOB the remote work on a 1st gen that has a factory installed alarm and keyless entry?

    i would like to know for sure. mine still works but the case is cracked up ive been wanting to replace it. dealer sells them for $85 then reprograming it. i can get one off of here for much cheaper thats why i'm trying to find out before i buy one
