So I've been wanting to level the truck. After reading quite a bit, I went ahead with Fox 2.0, part number 985-02-002, which comes with Eibach 600lbs/in springs. Basically I wanted to level it without sacrificing too much ride comfort. I was quite surprise the ride is better than the stock TRD suspension (I expected it to be a bit harsher), drove through pot holes, speed bumps etc and its absorbs everything quite nicely, it doesn't jar the truck and its not bouncy, its overall a very nice ride. Installation went smooth; with help from a friend we installed pretty much the same way as most have posted in the forums (Thanks to those who have posted installation instructions.). I went ahead and had it aligned, but I may take it to a different place soon as they were not able to get the caster to around 2.5 which from what I've read in the forums it should be possible with a 2" lift. Right now its at 1.5 with toe and camber at pretty much 0. I drove around and took it up to speed in the highway and it felt fine, straight and no wandering, so not sure if I should have another shop give it a shot or not.

I've been wondering about this topic for myself. Thanks for posting! I want to be able to adjust for extra weight with a four wheel camper on board. I was thinking of Bilstein 5100's and the stock coils but maybe the Fox is a better idea. For the rears I am thinking of waiting for the new leaf springs from the Toyota recall and just using a spacer to get a bit extra height and installing Firestone Air bags.

I am also thinking I should put a diff drop spacer in place in the front.

Well basically I expected it to be a bit harsher, usually what I read in this forum is comfort goes down as height goes up, so that was what I expected.

Just installed the same kit and I have aftermarket tires but I was able to get in alignment spec on one of them it was very close.

Did you adjust the shocks to compensate for the bumper? What were your final numbers for the alignment?

    Thanks.

Can you get 3" of lift with these Fox coil overs?
