This thread is only for those (2nd gen only please) folks who have failed the frame inspection and have been issued a new frame and the project has been completed.

    How long did it take?
    What else was replaced?
Were you notified of these additional replacements?
How much did it cost you?
Were you notified of the these costs?
Have you had any issues 'after the install'?
If yes - did you go back to the dealer?
Did they charge you for fixing the issues?
    Any aftermarket modifications?
If yes, how did they deal with them?

If there's anything else you want to add...or any other charges they threw at you for all this....

I'm curious to see how this turns out.

Should probably the other common variable, aftermarket mods and how the dealer dealt with them.

Mine passed the frame inspection and got undercoated. However my brother in laws truck failed NH state inspection last year due to frame rust. With 60K on it no less. This was before the service campaign started. But Toyota did cover it and he's had zero issues afterwards and it cost him nothing. However he wasn't able to drive his truck for about 7 months. It took 5 to get the frame (again pre-campaign) and it took them 2 months to do the work. A coworker who was a tech at Toyota until last month told me they could do a frame swap in a couple days if it was all they were working on. The dealer I get my parts from usually takes a week and they often have a couple going on at once.
