I see folks saying the lens is super sensitive

has anyone coated it with protectant prior to install while you have it conveniently out?

im thinking of putting some wax on it or something. Wipe off with microfiber towel.
But not if its so fragile that doing this alone messes it up - in which case may be better to simply install out of the box

 

Don’t do this. Some microfiber will scratch the plastic. Screen Protech makes a protective film for the cluster. You could also have your local detail shop put PPF on it prior to install.
