still struggling with the bend angles. the last prototype is about 98% there. so frustrated right.

install is probably about 45 minutes. you have to cut out part of your oem grille, put on the mounting brackets, mark holes, drill holes, screw in. it's a hell of a lot harder than the 3rd gen install.

I applaud your effort and design but need to ask: have you beta tested this? I only as because it seems that you’ve greatly reduced the size of the actual opening of the grill. Enough so that I’m curious if it would affect cooling?

Craig - that's a really good question. we've had it on one truck around town for 10-15 minutes, but not at high speeds. didn't seem to impact engine temperature, but again, one truck is hardly a decent sample size.

IMHO I like the look of the 3rd gen better than the 2nd gen. I believe its because of the height difference of the grills. The 3rd gen diamond pattern looks more uniform. Maybe and again IMHO the 2nd Gen TACOMA is to big and there needs to be more diamond pattern(maybe smaller). Please don't hate me because I really like the design.

install blows. you have to cut out the middle part of the oem grille, add the included brackets, mark the holes, drill the holes, and screw it in.

install on a 3rd gen is plug and play and takes about 15 minutes, this is more in the ball park of 45-60 minutes.
