2nd gen headlights

Good color on that. Thats pretty funny stuff with the stereo when you were a teenager. Smart as hell. If I were your parent I dont think I could get mad, I call that hustle!

FYI: My indepth knowledge of dumpster law comes from a Better Call Saul episode, ha.

 

My mom and dad were wicked pissed off. Later in life they did admit they thought it was clever. It was a lot of fun jumping into those big dumpsters. We'd always have some 'game plan' that never worked. Had to run from the rent-a-cop all the time. Ah man the joys of being a minor.

It was cool that the company dropped the charges on us. They were more pissed we were underselling the crap out of their equipment more than breaking into their dumpsters.

 

So getting this thread back on track, what years are those headlights for?

 

That's awful. We put them on a surplus website and sell them. Switched from ATT to TMobile and sold hundreds of IPhones and IPads...you can get a lot of good deals as the buyer in these situations.

As for the topic...if the lenses are in good shape I would be interested in just a drivers side lens.

 

So, what years are affected? I have a 2015 trd sport.

 

I would be interested in a set of lenses and reflector bowls for a 05-11 if you've got some.

 

I may be interested in a set also for my 08, depending on condition, price and shipping cost of course.

In my experience with similar arrangements, you're not keeping the old items as they become possessions of the manufacturer again. You trade. Which is why I'm not sure OP is conducting things legally.

 

We asked, they said they had to send the back to Toyota. Lol worth a try.

 

Sounds like "back to Toyota" = "the dumpster out back."
