I have a 2012 + hood with hood scoop. I want to trade for a 2011 and under years, without a scoop. I bought a truck and pervious own put a 2012 sport hood on a 2011 and it doesn’t really line up with body lines. I prefer silver

I have a Paint damaged hood, (2011 AC, OffRoad) and there is a place that sells painted hoods and ships them to you. I wonder if we could do a group buy or a discount with them, seem a very good company. https://paintedautobodyparts.com/products.html?find=2011-toyota-tacoma-hoods-1713142&sid=cBf2vBpKTb

Here it costs $450 to $850 to paint the hood, so I thought I might as well just get the hood I always wanted. Has anyone bought from them before? I wish there weren't in Illinois.

It was once said, by a sage Tacoma World member, "There are two types of Tacoma owners, those that have a hood scoop and those that want one, unless your a crazy dude from Floriduh!"

So you know that is not a 2012 Tacoma, it is a 2011 at best.

Hi all. I haven't logged in in awhile, but I bought a bunch of pallets sight unseen at a liquidation auction, and low and behold - there was a new in the box hood for a 2005-2011 with the scoop cut out.

Thing is, the box was damaged and the styrofoam packaging materials had fallen out on the bottom, and some idiot apparently set this thing down hard and the two corners that would go up against the windshield/firewall, on the far right/left side, are bent. I'll get a picture later. It's not that bad, but it's definitely there and someone would have to know what they're doing to make it right.

Its black primer so it would have to be painted anyway. but it's pretty good quality, heavy. If someone wants it just give me $50. In central OH. You'll have to come pick it up.

I'll get a picture, but please just pm me, I don't want to clutter up this thread with a bunch of chit chat over a $50 hood.

    Ok here's the pics

    hood.jpg

Those two pics below the first pic are close-ups, they kind of look worse than they are, if you look at the bigger image you can tell. There's also a real slight indentation on the left of the scoop, but its nothing, a body shop can pop it out in 10 seconds.

Hi guys, I have a 2015 mgm hood with no scoop. It's faded. Looking to trade for a 2012 - 2015 hood with scoop. MGM would be a bonus but any color would do since I'm going to repaint my truck soon.

    Can negotiate. PXL_20240128_201820512.jpg
