I have a 2006 tacoma 2wd acces cab. I went to turn it on and the key was on the lock position and would not turn over. I looked online and I couldnt find any help. What can I do to take care of this problem? I called the auto parts store and they said there was a pin but I cant seem to find it. Has anybody had this problem before? I tried using force and its not working so if anybody has technical advise i would really appreciate it

Find a locksmith that has experience with broken wafers and stuck wafers. Have it towed there and have them fix it. Locksmiths can do things with locks that other people can't.

Wiggle the steering wheel to get the pressure off the locking pin and try the key again.
