Buy a second gen Sequoia and drop a Taco cab on it. The Sequoia IRS is like a giant mid-travel multilink Sport car suspension... can support 12 - 14".

Most of the complaints from 8 years ago were that it was too expensive and too difficult to make durable. Technology has come a long way in that time. There are rumors about the Tundra and F150 being IRS. Not sure I believe them but who know. I'm really just curious how people view this topic in 2020.

I'd still rather have a front straight axle. That's how I feel

IRS Edition...? Was it paid for with tax refunds? Though, to be honest, don't a lot of our trucks get modded with tax refund money?

    Still thinking about it.
They could just make IRS if they want to and fudge it into the $46k plus cost....if they want to. Obscene profit is built in and people will pay for it.

Not quite logical these days to say that they would hold off due to cost. As long as the banks play along people will buy anything.

I don’t understand it either. I know lots of guys that make under $100k in a year but have $800-$1000 payment for 84 MONTHS on a new truck. Those are the ones that seem to judge guys like me in paid off base model rigs. It makes them mean lol.

Less than 30 years ago, a fully loaded Toyota pickup with A/C and power everything was probably under $22K!
