Anyone have pics from diff angles of the largest 11.6" version? Curious if is too big and obnoxious.
Thinking of putting one in my reg cab trail rig, and installing cams front/rear. A bigger screen would be nice but not if it's to the point of being annoying.

Call controls have to be buried in the settings somewhere.

I think the picture on their website shows how it partially blocks the vents. Seems too big and obnoxious for my taste.

I would be more worried of theft of the 10" and 11" models as its easy as just pulling on the screen to yank it off. At least with the 8" and 9" units, they are flush fit with the dash.

I thought I found the volume adjust jackpot but it didn't do anything to the ringer volume of incoming calls. I lowered every setting to 0 to see if either the built-in BT phone or Carlink Apple Carplay phone were linked to something other than BTPhone, but nope. Only way to adjust the incoming call is to lower the volume on the slider, but even then it only seems to stay low half the time. Also, I would want it up for music anyways. Went through practically every setting menu.

Really my only major gripe about the unit. The gloss is highly reflective at certain times of the day

Noticed the same thing. Was thinking about cutting a piece of matte black vinyl to go across the top.

I have a 2007 with the JBL audio system. I installed the 9" Joying unit, but I can only get the front speakers to work. I have been in contact with them, and they claim that I have the correct harness. Any ideas on how to troubleshoot this?

Have you been through all the equalizer settings? There are a ton of adjustments and on/off switches to play with.

Anyone’s touchscreen get really hot to touch? After 10 mins of driving on a cool day out, the lower area of the touchscreen gets super hot. Can’t imagine how hot it’ll get when I take this out on a long road trip.
Also, are you able to split the audio between front and rear? Mine still only does left and right. All speakers still get sound, just can’t adjust to each corner if that makes sense.

In the Equalizer app, there is a fade setting to go from front to back, left and right

I know. If I move the slider to rear, I get no sound. As I move the slider towards the front, “all speakers” start to get louder. If I move the slider 100% to rear, all speakers are quiet. Make sense?

Did your harness have the CANBUS? Its the red slim box connected to the joying harness.

Yes, and I sent Joying a picture of it to confirm that it is the correct CANBUS module. They say I have the correct harness and sent me a picture of a harness that looks just like mine to confirm.

I have also tried a bunch of different vehicle settings, and I have found that a few have all the speakers work, but then volume control and the fader do not work. I have attached a picture of one of those settings.

I think I found it... Settings -> System -> Developer -> Disable Absolute Volume .

Ringer is not as loud after that.

    Ooh, I 'll try that.

On another note, are you noticing people complaining about the mic quality during calls? I know this was brought up before. Can't tell if its defaulting to the mic in the front of the display or the included wired one that I routed to my headliner. Tried a high-end recording/lapel mic and it was no better, maybe even worse. Just came across a youtube video about using a mic amplifier app and increasing the gain. Also allows you to select between two mics (which I couldn't find anywhere in our settings).

Haven't tested it out with the app yet.

A number of people have complained that the wired mic is crappy. Most just use the built-in mic (me included) and have no complaints.

Is there a setting to toggle between the two or just don't plug in the wired mic?
