Since its android, I logged into my google account via the user settings, it then put on the google play store and I was able to get any app I desired.

Can you log into the user profile via your gmail? I would say start there.

I found the google play icon… I missed it with all my icons shrinking 1/4 the original size. Not sure how I did that

If you figure out our I would love to know. I would prefer smaller icons over the outrageously large ones I am faced with.

Once I installed the Agama Launcher, I fell in love with my truck again!

I just need to figure out how to get rid of the floating bubble quick setting toggle.

You can disable it in the “touch assistant” icon

Amazing if this works. I'll have to dig through it later today. Do you know the path to get to this setting?

My screen has a “touch assistant” icon, once I opened that I just deselected it so it does not appear. Simple, but easy to overlook

Thanks to @GoldenTaco27 for the clue on where to start with this. First go to SETTINGS, then USER, then APPLICATION SETTING. There you will see TOUCH ASSISTANT, turn it on. Shut off power to the head unit (key accessories) for a minute or two. When you power up the head unit you should see the Touch Assistant set up. I unchecked the "display button" option and again turned off the head unit. After a minute I powered it back up again the floating white bubble was gone. I then went back to USER, APPLICATION SETTING and turned the TOUCH ASSISTANT back off. I again powered down the head unit for a minute before restarting and my normal home screen was there without the floating white orb.

No more Orb. Before and after

Glad it worked out for you! I had a physical icon on my app screen so I didn't have to navigate it as much for some reason.

I'm going to be hooking up a front facing camera to the AUX video input feed this weekend in hopes that it is as easy as I am told it is. My only two complaints in my 1 week of ownership are:

    • I cant seem to get any GPS to work despite it showing that it is pinging 15+ satellites
    • My factory USB (3rd gen) doesnt have power despite the unit coming with a factory USB connection
Once I get those to work as expected, I will officially be very pleased with this relatively cheap upgrade. I read lots of complaints in the 3rd gen Joying thread about the lackluster pre amp output but my Kicker system sounds muchhhhhhhhh better (1200 watt 5 channel amp powering Q-Class 6x9", CS 6.5", Tweeters, and 10' sub). The EQ has taken me a minute to get dialed (not really sure the ideal "sound field" settings?) but has made a huge difference in sound quality with no drop in how loud it peaks at, despite hearing otherwise.

Have you tried “google maps” (Reference GPS).

Yeah… Google maps is set as the default for the head-unit’s navigation.

I was recently having GPS issues, but after doing a system reboot from the drop down menu, issues cleared

Could there maybe be a second page for the apps?

Upgraded from android 10 to android 12 on mine. I asked for help from Joying, they provided a link to download (also available on their website). This failed for me. They told me it worked, but it didn't with system showing still on version 10.
What I found to work, was to upgrade to the newest android 10 and after that, to upgrade to 12.

Thanks for the tip. I've been putting the version 12 upgrade on mine, but when I do I'll keep your tip in mind.
