Wired up my OEM rear view camera into my Joying headunit yesterday. FINALLY found the time! It was not hard at all whatsoever if you have any ounce of wiring ability in your body lol. Many others have done write ups so i dont think an official wire up would be needed. If anyone has any questions feel free to ask or let me know. I may post an explanation video on youtube. The rear camera does appear a little bit blurrier than it used to on the previous Entune headunit, but i think it is just because the screen size and resolution is different. Feels good to have this done.

Anything more about the possible data breach? It seems that it is just through google, so if you don't log into Google through the unit is there no way of a breach? I have no idea what I'm talking about, and you all know way more than me, lol... I don't want to be conspiratorial in any way, but a unit straight from mainland China with no "real" US brand recognition/ support (JVC, Kenwood, Pioneer, etc.) seems slightly sketchy to me. I love the look and functionality of the unit (really want one), but still on the fence about it with no tangible answers about what happened.

You can just create a Google account for just the radio if you're that worried about it. If they want your info that bad, they are gonna get it anyway. I haven't had any issues with data privacy since I had it

I figured that the separate google account is a way around it. I agree with you on if they want it there are other routes available, but worth the ask.

Today I added this USB/Audio connector to replace the stock one. I had found a harness that allowed me to keep the original usb but lose the audio. Not that I think I will use the audio plug any time soon but why lose the functionality.

Also got a new cable because my old one wasn't working with Android Auto. The new one allowed the connection instantly and AA is now working well.

I like that it's coiled and long enough to go from the plug to the dash mount.

Not charging any faster though, that's still a mystery :)

I just want to say my OEM speakers improved drastically after installing the Joying Headunit and putting it on the "Rock" EQ Setting. I don't really understand all the sliders on the EQ app on the head unit but I feel like the Rock setting makes the speakers sound sooooo much better in all aspects.

I don't really get Car Launchers. I haven't had a chance to mess around with the one I downloaded but do you have to like tap into the app for it every time? Still so many settings I cant figure out, like when I plug my iPhone in how to tether it to use my phones service for my Joying Apps? It wont let me turn it on.

Just installed the joying radio a month or so ago. Has anyone had any trouble with your truck hard starting randomly?
Mine never did this until after the install.

Wow, I just did the opposite with Rockford Fosgate speakers and totally woke up the sound, I’m waiting until my old wheels sell before I pull the trigger on this unit and can’t wait to hear the difference. The factory speakers are just shy of a pice of cardboard with a refrigerator magnet on the back and weight about as much.

Im currently having bluetooth issues with my unit. Everything else is working as it should. Bluetooth was working fine then stopped, so I hit the bluetooth reset and now it won't save the device name and password. I have so far tried factory reset, bluetooth reset as mentioned above, rebooting the system, checked my phone and rebooted my phone obviously....trying to have conversation over email is hard enough being that it is almost 24 hour time zone difference. Love the format of the unit, Im just angry at the fact it was over $400 bucks and already took a few shits within a month of owning and almost 3 weeks of waiting for it to be delivered....Any help or suggestions would be appreciated!!

Has anybody set up the joying camera? I wanted to see if it’s an improve over stock. I’m sure which wire to hook the green wire on the camera cable at the head unit. Seems like there should be a wire on the harness for it? When I put the truck into reverse the screen thinks there is a camera and shows the backup lines but obviously no feed. I haven’t hooked up the camera yet. I thought that wire was supposed to go to a feed like the backup lights.

I just got my Joying unit in today and in trying to install it, the OEM bracket does not work properly with the unit. Any advice?

Did you get from website or Ebay? I see they are selling the same unit on Ebay for $360 or make offer. How long did it take for you to get it ?
