Looking for recommendations for lift kit for my 2nd Gen (2015) Tacoma. Size and brand. I drive a lot so want a good ride. Looking to fit 33” tires. 34” max. 285/60/20 or 285/65/20. Truck is just leveled atm still with stock tire size.

To run the 285/65/20 you gonna need to run a 6” kit, for the 285/60/20 you’ll need a 4” kit.

20" rims might keep you from getting the good ride you want. Of course, I've never had 20s so I can't speak from experience. But in general, more rim = less tire sidewall = harsher ride.

You don't need 20s. Go with a 3" lift running Kings, FOXs, ADS, Icon or something else. I am running 285x70x17 on 17x8.5 with Kings. It's like driving on a cloud. Good luck and welcome to TW.

I already have 20” rims. That’s why I’m staying with it

-33 inch Nitto Ridge Grapplers -18 inch fuel kranks -Bilstein 5100s -OME normal duty dakars -Toytec/Eibach coils -Magnaflow off-road pro exhaust -Prinsu roof rack -nfab rock guards -EBay Faux Trd Pro Grille -Custom basshead audio build in progress
Depends on your price range. My first lift/ suspension setup was a 3 inch lift with the Toytec coil spacer and a rear AAL. This setup was only around $300 online. I now run my new setup which gives me about 3.5 inches give or take with bilstein 5100s all around, eibach Toytec coils, and regular OME Dakar leaf springs. This costed me around $1000ish if I remember right, but it does ride a lot better and performs better offroad. If you’re gonna be a pavement princess then go with the cheap lift, but if you do plan on doing light off-roading, I would take my path. Also I would use the forum search tool in the top right of your screen. Tons of good info if ya look for a sec. And welcome to TW!

If you not planning on running more than 3” of lift you will have to go to a 285/55/20 approx 32.4” diameter.
