Just finally found and bought my 2009 6 speed 4.0 taco with the Trd sport. 94,500. Just paid $16,000 from a private seller. Got sent in for the frame recall b4 I bought it. And done 6months ago. New frame, springs, upper and lower control arms, brakes front and back, all new fluids. I was kind of Leary in buying a truck that was completely taken apart and put back together. But it’s in super great shape otherwise. A female school teacher owned it for the past 9 years. My question is does anyone have any kind of issues with a Taco transplant like this? Is there anything I should worry about or maybe keep an eye on? Thanks for the input

Lots of guys have had it done.
Can’t say I’ve seen many complaints.

The Techs that are doing theses have done so many, they pretty much have it figured out.

I wouldn’t worry about it at all.

Just don't go by the list that toyota has regarding the work that will be done when the frame is replaced. The dealer that did mine found several short cuts. They do not replace the coolant as per toyota.
