the only one that URD has on their website wont fix shit. its a band aid and will still cause a squeak eventually. thats why i replaced mine for the clutchmasters.

I keep seeing poor reviews of URDs TOB fix. I have yet to see a single poor review of Clutch Master's internal hydraulic TOB. That could just be because there's more people who have used the URD one. But it seems like a lot of people are using (and loving) the Clutch Master one without issue. I can't wait to install mine!

Don’t have to set airgap with the Tacoma specific kit. Can use oem clutch. Can use any clutch that is oem size stack

Have about 2200 miles on my CM hydro bearing setup and so far zero issues. I'm used to driving it now, but just had a buddy with an FJ who was curious about purchasing the kit drive my truck and he was shocked how smooth it felt. Albeit he is having some transmission issues but he said the clutch felt more like shifting a car then a truck with how smooth it felt.

@wrmathis is correct, it is 100% plug and play with the OEM clutch or any other aftermarket clutch that is the same overall stack height of the OEM clutch, which all of them should be.

Glad I came across this as my clutch/trans crapped out on me last week. Guessing the TOB finally had enough. I was running the URD stage 2 clutch with heavy fly wheel. Are we certain that the CM kit is compatible with other clutch kits?
Not being familiar with CM can anyone recommend a good clutch from them that would hold up to occasional off-road/crawling abuse with city driving?

After seeing a comment on this thread about Black Friday deal I started looking, but didn’t see anything either. Decided to just give them a call after work today. Dude said it’s been going on all week, and runs till Monday. He did also say group buy is coming, but you’ll have hope enough people jump on board. I think he said he had 6 in stock when I ordered mine.

    Nothing yet
Hello. Forgive me if I'm posting in the wrong section. I have a 2005 tacoma 6 speed that the tranny just died in. I'm stuck in neutral, will not engage any gear. Something is wrong internally. My question is this. Can I swap a fj cruiser tranny straight in? Only difference I can tell is 6th gear is slightly lower geared. I've searched but am unable to find a definite answer. Thanks.

Im wishing someone had over 50k on this hydro bearing to really see if it’s the fix for our TOB
