I’m actually just looking for the bearing itself. 68-75mm OD and 40mm ID with a concentric contact face. Needs to be of the highest quality of course.

    Clearly mine is a dud.
Considering my previous experience with this company, I want nothing further to do with them. They’ve had every opportunity to make this right. They haven’t. Not so much as an apology. Not that that would help. They’re too cowardly to respond to my email. They’re pricks when I have called in the past. No. I’m not calling. Perhaps someone there that has a spine will get wind of this and reach out to me. I ain’t betting on it though.

Is your bearing toast ? can you pull it apart and source any numbers on the casing ?
I cant see Clutch Masters designing a brand new bearing . I am assuming they just modified a bearing that was already in production ?
I will have a peek at some shop catologues .
Just a heads up ....try and get a self aligning bearing

Yes. I’m sure it’s a bearing for a different application that they’re using. My bearing is fine. But, it’s still installed in my truck which is broken down in my driveway. I need another one or something similar/better for the setup that I’m trying to put together. I’m documenting that in another thread.

    Thank you for this.

After spending the bulk of my morning searching; I think I've found my bearing. Looks like it's intended for a Nissan. We'll just keep that tidbit on the DL tho.

So I’m gonna sell mine. Is there an slave or parts that make it a smoother shifting truck without installing this

I wish I had a truck in front of me to answer your question .
At this time , I beleive Clutch Masters has the best aftermarket design , however , judging by the customer service and quality of parts , I would be skeptical of installing the CM assembly without some serious tweaking .

I would like to see the factory release bearing dimensions . Does anyone know how much difference there is between a LUK clutch release bearing and an AISN clutch release bearing ?

Below is the PDF showing the upgraded master cylinder for the factory clutch application . The TSB is part of the clutch pedal squeek issue . This TSB has nothing to do with the clutch masters aftermarket install but also changes the clutch master from plastic to metal

Before this CM setup. I was running the PDM sleeve/bearing combo with the OE Aisin clutch. It worked just fine along with the TSB pivot ball and slave cyl. Which are simply the later model 11-15 Tacoma parts.

    upload_2020-12-13_12-39-47.jpg

The OE clutch started slipping shortly after I went to the 2.5" blower pulley. So, during the clutch upgrade, I fell into the group buy for this thing.

I use my calipers constantly. I should probably have another set that I just keep with me at all times.
