Good evening guys, I am needing to change out my lower ball joints (2014 4wd). I changed these less than 2 years ago with O' Reilly parts, already going bad. I have some moogs sitting around that i've had for a while, but lost the boxes. Can anyone verify if these are correct for fitment on the Tacomas?

Top of BJ says : Moog Problem Solver 301 0 224

I have searched this online, but it does not reference. I have changed the BJ's before, not wanting to replace the lower control arm, just the ball joint. Worst case scenario, I take them to Napa tomorrow to compare. They do not carry Moog anymore, but I can just compare to other stock parts I am hoping.

Last time I rented a ball joint removal kit and used my 1/2" Milwaukee Impact gun 1200ft lbs torque which did the job nicely. Although I was waiting for the cup to explode when I was gunning it!

Thanks for your input or comments.

Most likely cheaper at Rock Auto.
I have an uppper waiting to be installed. Box says made in China.

For the lowers I used Moog's made in Canada.

Mevotech TTX is good stuff. They are the only ball joints that I've tried that can handle any sort of abuse in my 06 Duramax on 35s.
I have them on my 15 Tacoma as well, but the Duramax is so much heavier so I think it makes more of a difference in that application.

LED interior, license plate, and fog lights. More to come.
Unfortunately I wouldn't expect too much from Moog ones either. They're really no better than most other generic aftermarket ones now.

Yeah. Moog went downhill in the mid-2000's.
That aren't worth a premium any more.

With Moog it's a hit or a miss. I think they sometimes purchase other brands to resell. Like opening a Koyo box and finding a Timken bearing. I installed some lower ball joints on a gen 1 within the last 3 years and the packaging said made in Japan. They were IDENTICAL to the originals. As said I bought some lowers made in Canada probably made by Mevotech. I've seen some made in Mexico which are probably made by Moog.
Here is a pic of the lower Moog ball joint I installed.

As said, Moog was a respected brand 20+ years ago. No more. At least to me. Aftermarket parts have become such shit, across the board, because of the "race to the bottom" to compete on price; I've 95% given up on them and just buy OE parts online to save myself the headache. Yes, they cost more, but when the OE part costs twice as much but lasts 10 years and the aftermarket lasts one year, you're not saving money. I'm old enough to remember when brand name aftermarket parts, like Moog, lasted like OE. Those days are long gone.
