    Originally posted this question in the general 2nd gen forum, so I figured I'd try again here. Seems that my factory mic isn't working as I'm attempting to add a phone to the system and it's not hearing my responses. I have a 2009 and it has the 14-pin plug above the mirror.

    For reference, here's a pic of a similar mirror with the mic on top. Any help/guidance/sanity check would be greatly appreciated.
