Fear not! Like Kev O, I'm very happy with (what I consider to be) the improved ride and handling the Dakars provide.

This was a few months after leaf pack install, minus the second overload, but the day of topper install...

A page or two back they talk about them. They have lining between the leaves to prevent squeaks. Same pack otherwise.

I'm ready to lift my truck. I'm basically in a holding pattern. All I need is the Dakars.

Im bumping this wonderful thread. I am looking for DCLB's with a cap on the back + approx 100 pounds. I would rather not raise the Icon CO's more than i have to. Im at 23.5" in the back right now with oe leafs and a block. I wouldnt mind being at 24", but 25" is probably to much for me. Should i remove the top overload or install the whole pack? There is only one long bed with a cap listed with the long overload removed. I dont want to do the same work twice. I know you long bed Tacoma owners are out there......

Not certain as I measured so long ago. You will be within a half inch of the numbers in the op. This is my 3rd tacoma and 3rd set of Dakars and I have always run them full.

    I installed the full pack.
    23.5" driver side

Exactly what I was looking for!

About how much weight could you carry daily with third leaf removed? Not looking for a whole lot of height

Anybody have ideas on what is causing the sag on my rig? I measured multiple times, so its not operator error. The tank is practically empty when I measured. Just seems off how all the other trucks with this kit have no where near the amount of lean that mine does. I have shims going on towards the end of the week, but it still seems odd that for a new kit to be leaning so bad..
