    Having first hand experience with an 07 Tacoma 4.0 and a 2006 tundra 4.7. I would say get a 2005-2006 v8 tundra access cab or double cab. The power in the Tacoma is just ok. Good acceleration but runs out of breath. I wouldn’t drive it towing a damn thing:( The 05-06 tundra 4.7 is awesome, the power is really nice all through the rpms. Don’t get me wrong the Tacoma is tuff as a tank, but it would of been legendary with the 4.7.
